The legendary Blood, Sweat & Tears set the music world on fire back in the late sixties with their hypnotic blend of rock, jazz, and soul, augmented with brilliant and skillful musicianship. Bursting on the scene initially with The Blues Project’s Al Kooper (vocals, guitars/keyboards) and Steve Katz, their first album Child Is A Father To The Man would prove to become the huge catalyst for things to come.

For their next three smash albums, Canadian vocalist supreme David Clayton-Thomas would take the band to the top of all the popular music charts as their next three albums would yield a plethora of hit singles. Their performances were of legendary proportion, which made them one of the most successful live acts of the classic rock era. With their massive radio airplay, and of course an amazing string of number one singles and hit albums, B, S & T to this day are still revered and loved by their continual growing legion of fans worldwide.

After delivering a plethora of hits in rapid succession for Columbia Records, the label honored the hugely popular band with their first 'best of' album simply titled Blood, Sweat & Tears Greatest Hits.

Filled with a treasure trove of chart topping singles and hit album tracks from their first four smash albums, this incredible 1972 effort awarded these jazz rock legends with another platinum plus effort.

No stone is left unturned, as this 11 track masterpiece is loaded with hit after hit with smash singles like I Can’t Quit Her, And When I Die, Spinning Wheel, Lisa Listen To Me, and You’ve Made Me So Very Happy.

As one of the most enduring albums in their massive career catalog, Blood, Sweat & Tears Greatest Hits included some significant album tracks too like the beautiful Steve Katz masterpiece Sometimes In Winter and David Clayton-Thomas’ stunning interpretation of the Billie Holiday classic God Bless The Child. All in all, a collection of songs which took the fans by storm, forever associating the title superstars to the Blood, Sweat & Tears franchise.
