The 21st studio album from Bob Dylan was released in August of 1981. Considered to be the final album in a trilogy of Christian albums, the arrangements are rooted more in rock 'n' roll and less in gospel.
"Every Grain of Sand" was noted as a stand-out track by Paul Nelson of Rolling Stone while Bono, of U2, described Shot of Love as one of his favorites due to Dylan's singing ability.
