180g Vinyl Audiophile Edition Reissue! Mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Records!

Mardi Gras is the seventh and final studio album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released on April 11, 1972. Unlike previous albums, Mardi Gras had Stu Cook and Doug Clifford sharing songwriting and production with John Fogerty, as well as their own lead vocal contributions for the first time.

Released in April 1972, Mardi Gras marked CCR’s farewell as a musical entity after 5 enormously successful years. Yet this album, as its title suggests, is more a celebration than a swan song. With the departure of guitarist Tom Fogerty a year previously, the group worked closely as a trio, sharing writing, singing, and production duties. This is a 180-gram audiophile vinyl edition.
