FIM IEC Power Connector Model 301 15amps
Which is the most vital link of your system? The most vital link in an
audio system in not the cable, amplifier or speaker, but the source of the
power. It is the connection of the power from the wall power panel to your
system. Regardless of how expensive your equipment may be, without good power
connections, your system will not sound its best.
Which metal sounds best? The parts of a power connector are made of
metal. Knowledgeable audiophiles all know that the best sounding metal is
copper. Among all kinds of copper, the best sounding one is mono-crystal or OCC
copper (Ohno Continuous Casting Copper). The best and most expensive of OCC
copper is UPOCC (Ultra Purity OCC). FIM uses UPOCC to make its power connectors
(Model 301, 302 and 303).
Who makes the best power connectors? To be honest, we don't know who
makes the best power connectors. We have tried all the different products
available in the world. It is simply not feasible to do that. Nobody can.
However, we do believe that ours sound the best amongst al the products we have
compared. This is because we use, inter alias, the best metal on the planet to
manufacture our connectors, i.e. UPOCC copper!
All metal parts are of UPOCC and 24k gold-plated
