GAIA I delivers a machined stainless steel structure, finished in stately dark chrome. Incorporating IsoAcoustics patented design principles, GAIA provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

WSDG, an international company specializing in architectural acoustic design, provided a beautiful, aesthetically appealing acoustic solution to the upgrade of the BSO Control Room. IsoAcoustics had the opportunity to install the new GAIA I isolators under the B&W 802 D2 speakers, with a selection of music played for comparison. The difference in sound clarity and openness was instantly apparent. The soundstage opened and became more three dimensional and spacious.

GAIA I isolators are delivered in sets of 4 in a luxurious leather box with alternative thread sizes to fit most speakers in this weight range. Included threads sizes are M12, M8 and 1/4-20. Optional adapter plates are available for B&W Nautilus and Diamond D1 & D2 speakers to replace the ball-casters and spikes.
Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speakerÂ’s motive forces. Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface. Designed for a wide variety of floor standing speakers with a maximum weight of 220lbs (100kg). Alternative threaded studs provided in M8, 1/4-20 and M12.
