James Newton Howard is joined by Toto's David Paich, Steve Porcaro, Jeff
Porcaro and Joe Porcaro for this recording of rock instrumentals composed for
synthesizers - recorded live direct to disc. Mastered from analogue disc
It is with great excitement that Sheffield Labs bring this favorite back with a
new process, Mastered from Analog Disc Originals -- Much ADO about Something!
Originally recorded direct to analog disc, this recording as originally released
on LP was noted for sonic transparency and impact. For this reissue, engineer
Seth B. Winner first optimized mechanical playback of pure vinyl discs derived
from the original metal parts. The Cedar system was used for transfer to digital
and noise elimination. Sheffield Labs are extremely proud of the end result,
which brings the listener closer than ever to the sound of the live performance.
