Capitol Records' 75th Anniversary Vinyl LP Reissue!
Johnny Mercer, with Harold Arlen, wrote the title track, 'Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive", in 1944 and it became a huge hit for him. The 1957 album features smooth vocals by Mercer backed by The Blue Reys, The Pied Piers, the Alvino Rey's Orchestra, Freddy Slack's Orchestra, and Paul Weston and His Orchestra. Mercer was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1971.
This album is now reissued on vinyl in celebration of Capitol Records 75th anniversary.
