Screen legend Sophia Loren and former presidents Bill Clinton and Mikhail Gorbachev are narrators on the latest CD from the Russian National Orchestra. The PentaTone Classics release of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and a new composition, Wolf Tracks by Jean-Pascal Beintus is the orchestra's second on the Dutch label which specializes in surround sound recordings for release on Super Audio CD. The project was conceived by the RNO and developed under the artistic direction of Kent Nagano, who also conducts on the recording.
Musicians: Sophia Loren, narrator; Bill Clinton, narrator; Mikhail Gorbachev, narrator. The Russian National Orchestra conducted by Kent Nagano.
