Signals is the band’s ninth studio album, released in 1982. It was the follow-up
to the (what would become) seminal Moving Pictures album.
Stylistically, the album was a continuation of Rush’s foray into the
technology-oriented 1980s through increased use of electronic instrumentation
such as keyboards, sequencers, and electric violin. The songs got shorter too.

Throughout the years 2014 and 2015, Rush celebrate their 40th anniversary with
vinyl reissues of albums from their Mercury era. The titles "Fly By Night," "A
Farewell To Kings," and "Signals" are also issued on Blu-Ray Pure Audio.

Producer's note: With this disc, you are now able to hear at home what we hear
in the studio. This Blu-Ray disc contains all 8 tracks from Signals in high
resolution 96kHz 24-bit PCM stereo, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD 5.1
surround sound. It is primarily an audio-only disc with basic navigation and
song information displayed on-screen. The 96kHz 24-bit audio on this disc has
256 times more resolution than a CD, providing greater detail and reproducing
the music's full dynamic range, from the softest to the loudest sounds.
