The Decouple extends the Strange Attractors low frequency effectiveness by adding an elastomer layer to the device. Elastomer layers of varying hardness can be exchanged to address a wide weight range of components or uneven weight distribution within a component. The Decouple is ideal for nonsuspended turntables and is extremely effective for use with speakers in preventing them from energizing a springy floor, thereby eliminating a major source of room coloration.
