Limited Edition Pink Vinyl As Part Of Ten Bands One Cause Campaign!
Ten Bands re-issue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl, all for one
cause. 2016 is the third year for the initiative that has helped raise $65,000
for Gilda’s Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both
those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. It is named after comedian
Gilda Radner, who passed away from the disease at the age of 43 in 1989.
This year’s Limited Edition Pink Vinyl titles are from Anthrax, The Black Keys,
Courtney Barnett, Ed Sheeran, Jim Breuer & The Loud & Rowdy, My Chemical
Romance, NOFX, Opeth, Pixies and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This Black Keys EP, following The Rubber Factory, satisfies every bit as much as
a full-length LP of Keys original material.
Chulahoma contains the Songs of Junior Kimbrough, who is probably one of the
rawest blue artists ever. The Black Keys really capture his sound and take it a
step further by using their distorted guitar and raw backbone drumming.
Chulahoma has a more raw sound than their previous LP, Rubber Factory.
