This Single-Layer SACD can only be played on a Super Audio CD Player!
Two members of the Dan Trimmer Trio snuck in a couple of originals for their Kelly Blue album, recorded in 2006.
While the Trio's pianist and group's namesake Dan Nimmer blessed the album with two originals ("Brimsha Man," and "Quick Jump") drummer Jimmy Cobb has proven through his original "Eleanor" (Track 6) that pianists and vocalists aren't the only musicians who can compose.
"Eleanor," Cobb has said, is a tribute to his late sister, who died of breast cancer at the age of 32.
Other more traditional album selections include "On A Clear Day," "On The Trail" and "Autumn Leaves."
