Fidelio presents a new Pure DSD Super Audio Compact Disc (SACD)! The Nemesis percussion ensemble is a new reference for audiophile sound, recorded in 5.1 at St-Jean Baptiste church! Nemesis is a body of 6 percussionists who divide themselves among at least 30 instruments under the direction of Thierry Pilote.
Recorded direct to Pure DSD with Wi Direct 5.1 Wide Imaging with six vacuum tube omni microphones. This recording and mixing technique gives the listener a wide an realistic soundstage never achieved before. Mastered with Nagra electronics and Verity Audio loudspeakers.
It comes from all sources and draws inspiration from every one of them. Vigorous and lively, worrisome as a river's rapids, the music of Nemesis is a surprising tower of Babel where a vast array of musical influences enchant with pleasant harmonies and tumultuous thunder.
Whether letting loose a lightning strike, creating a gusting wind, painting mirages, or scouring the savannahs of all the Congos of the world, it doesn't pull any punches and unleashes a hundred rumbling drums with a few marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, kettle drums and multiple percussions, brought together powerfully and beautifully in these soundscapes.
