A new Canadian/American/European collaboration is the brainchild of Vancouver
drummer Dylan van der Schyff. Substantial compositions cover a broad spectrum of
styles between modern and avant-garde jazz, plus improvised duets and trios.
Beautiful DSD recording and multi-channel mix accentuate the colors and moods of
this hybrid SACD. Van der Schyff, featured on Dave Douglas' recent Mountain
Passages, is known for his work with George Lewis, Louis Sclavis, Eyvind Kang,
Myra Melkford, and more.
"Dylan van der Schyff has played in many similar projects, and the experience
paid off handsomely...In topping the bill an opening night, van der Schyff
showed up huge for a crucial, overdue statement." - Jazz Times
