Easily upgrade any Aries or TNT Turntable with VPI's TNT Clear Acrylic Platter/Bearing
Upgrade kit for superior sound! These are the same parts used on VPI's
$10,000.00 flagship turntable the HRX! This is a very cost effective and
substantial upgrade for any VPI turntable! You will get better Bass, Sound
Staging, Improved Detail and Quieter Background!
The HRX inverted main bearing, incorporating a hardened steel ball running on
Teflon, produces very quiet, very dynamic, free of all random motion due to the
stability of the inverted design where the thrust ball is placed just below
where the record rest. The belt is driving the platter through the middle of the
bearing assembly instead of two to three inches away from the center of the
bearing assembly. There is no generation of teeter-totter motion.
The TNT Clear Acrylic Platter is 1 1/2" thick of finely machined Acrylic and has a larger
diameter than all previous VPI platters. This improves speed stability and
allows for the use of the New HRX Stainless Steel Outer Periphery Ring Record
Clamp.

Easy to Upgrade! Upgrading the Aries is as easy as dropping in the new bearing
where the old was. The TNT needs a spacer which is included at no extra charge.
