180g Vinyl Reissue! Mastered from the Original Analog Tapes by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering!

Fair Warning is the fourth studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen. Released in 1981, it sold more than two million copies. Despite the album's commercially disappointing sales, Fair Warning was met with mostly positive reviews from critics. The cover artwork features a detail from The Maze, a painting by Canadian artist William Kurelek which depicts his tortured youth. The album was listed by Esquire as one of the 75 Albums Every Man Should Own.

Mastering engineer Chris Bellman, who remastered the original albums for Bernie Grundman Studios, Hollywood, CA, was enlisted for these new versions (2015). In order to produce the original sound the band intended, Bellman cut straight from the quarter-inch tapes for CD; for 180-gram vinyl; and for the digital version.

"...Fair Warning contains some of the fiercest, hardest music that Van Halen ever made...it showcases the coiled power of Van Halen better than any other album, which makes it worth visiting..." -Stephen Thomas Erlewine, allmusic.com
