This is a 180 gram vinyl release of the eclectic soundtrack from the 2007 cult favorite from Wes Anderson. Set in India, the film incorporates the music of acclaimed director Satyajit Ray’s own films, scoring from early Indian Merchant-Ivory films, and hit songs as well as deep album cuts by the Rolling Stones and the Kinks. Grammy award winning music supervision is by Randall Poster, Wes Anderson’s long-time collaborator.

The Darjeeling Limited is a 2007 comedy-drama film directed by Wes Anderson, and starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Jason Schwartzman. It was written by Anderson, Schwartzman, and Roman Coppola. The film also features Waris Ahluwalia, Amara Karan, Barbet Schroeder, and Anjelica Huston, with Natalie Portman, Camilla Rutherford, Irrfan Khan, and Bill Murray in cameo roles. The 2007 film follows three 'dysfunctional' brothers on their journey to reconnecting with each other.
