Brand New Recordings! Glen's Hits Like You've Never Heard Them Before!

Becoming a bonafide legend isn’t as easy as Glen Campbell makes it look. First, you have to have a solid foundation of talent on which to build — like being one of the hottest guitar players in the world. Then you have to record songs that will stand the test of time — standards such as “By The Time I Get To Phoenix” and “Wichita Lineman.” Check and check. It certainly doesn’t hurt to have a witty, bantering stage style that draws fans like college students to Daytona Beach, or a hit television show viewed by 50 million people every week for three years. When you put it all together, the result is a career that spans 50 plus years, with fans that cross generational and international lines. In other words: Glen Campbell.

Glen will be remembered as one of the best guitarists of his generation. His musicianship has inspired many of today’s most renowned pickers, including Alan Jackson, Steve Wariner, and Keith Urban and lives on in the tracks of the most legendary collections of the 20th century. His enormous success as a crossover artist also paved the way for hitmakers such as Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton to break genre barriers.

Glen Campbell offers stunning new takes of his career-defining hits on his new album. These gorgeous vocals were initially recorded during the Ghost On The Canvas sessions. Producers Dave Darling & Dave Kaplan were so moved by these powerful performances, they decided to bring a group of musicians into the studio that would complement Glen's legendary voice. The resulting album is at once chilling, uplifting, haunting and spine tingling. This record is a more intimate and unique take on many of Glen's most popular songs as well as some other gems.

"When Glen heard what they did in reinterpreting these songs, he lit up and was smiling from ear to ear. And I was too," says Kim Campbell, Glen's wife. "This record is a more intimate and unique take on many of Glen's most popular songs as well as some other gems. The producers took the magic of his voice and showcased it in a whole new way for Glen."

The album's title, See You There, an expression that's been a trademark of Glen's for years, takes on an added poignancy at this stage of his life - as do the songs that take us back to the early days of his iconic career.

"[N]ear-definitive versions of 'Wichita Lineman,' 'Galveston' and 'Gentle on My Mind,' conjuring the originals with a patina of age and minus the arrangement lard. Campbell's voice sounds great, and his phrasing has only improved (listen to how he carves the end note of the 'Wichita' chorus). Best is 'Rhinestone Cowboy,' just electric guitar and the weary voice of a footlight hustler taking his last laps." - Rolling Stone, Rated 3.5/5 Stars
