Stereophile & Elusive Disc Recommended Component! AudioVideo Hi-Fi Grand Prix Award Winner! Less Surface Noise, Crisper Highs, More Detail in the Midrange and Bass!

Gruv-Glide is a dry record treatment that actually enhances the sound (fidelity) of the record. Prior to it's development even the highest quality cartridge could not produce the maximum available reproduction from the phono record. Now, for the first time, the use of Gruv-Glide brings out the best possible sound. Gruv-Glide not only increases the fidelity of the record, but also reduces surface noise, removes static and cleans the record. The treated record and stylus will last longer due to the increased tracking ability and reduced friction. One application lasts for an indefinite period of time. The kit will treat at least 150 records when used as directed, making it a most economical treatment.

Gruv-Glide brings you closer to the live performance! Prove it to yourself, make this test: Clean your stylus. Select a stereo/hi-fidelity music record. Hold the record in a vertical position and place the small styrofoam button (furnished in kit) against the record. If the record has static, the styrofoam will cling to it. Remove the test styrofoam. Prior to Gruv-Glide treatment, play your record at the beginning for about 20 seconds at a fair volume. Listen carefully to all the parts and details of instruments. Repeat this procedure once or twice so that the quality of the record can be memorized. Do not change the settings on your sound equipment. Apply Gruv-Glide according to the instructions and repeat the listening procedure.

You will notice an improvement in the sound of your record. Less surface noise, better highs, more detail in the midrange and bass will result. Also more spaciousness, dimension, and general better overall fidelity will be noticed. The words of song will be more easily understood. Gruv-Glide brings you closer to the live performance. Repeat procedure on the other side of the record. Remove the record from the turntable and again test it with the styrofoam. The styrofoam should not stick. The record has been destaticized and cleaned without residue in the grooves. Records treated with Gruv-Glide will last longer since wear has been reduced. your stylus will also wear less.

Gruv-Glide is the only treatment the will actually improve the sound quality (fidelity) of your records while greatly reducing static electricity. For best results, clean your stylus often.

Seven Helpful Hints:
1. Do not spray directly on to record. Spray as directed on to the pad.
2. Do not apply Gruv-Glide each time the record is played. Initial application lasts for a considerable number of playings. If, eventually, record again becomes staticized, repeat treatment lightly (one short burst).
3. If too much Gruv-Glide is applied and record appears wet, continue buffing with pad until smooth effect is noted.
4. Keep the application pads clean. To clear pads of dust, hold a pad at outer edge, between the thumb and forefinger of each hand and slap the pads against each other. Use the plastic bags (supplied) to store the pads when not in use.
5. To remove dust that falls on treated record, wipe lightly with dry pad.
6. For best results, clean your stylus often.
7. Label or mark your records that have been treated.

Features:
• Easy To Use
• Improves Record Fidelity
• Removes Static
• Cleans Records
• Improves Tracking
• Record & Stylii Last Longer
• One Application Per Record Side
• Treats 150 Records Per Kit (Use As Directed)

Directions for use on your Records:
Hold one application pad about 4 inches from spray nozzle and spray one surface with 2 one-half second bursts. Rub the sprayed surface against the untreated pad with two light passes. Rotate the record the turntable at 45rpm or by hand. Immediately apply (with light pressure) the sprayed surface against the rotating record. Continue until wiping action feels very smooth. The record surface is now clean, destaticized, and the grooves dry-lubricated. Proper use of Gruv-Glide will improve the sound of your records. Less surface noise, better highs, midrange and bass will be noticeable.

One application is sufficient. It is not necessary to reapply each time the record is played.

NOTE: Use only as directed. Do not over apply. Record should not appear wet during application. Do not spray directly on the record. Treats approximately 150 record when used as directed.

Gruv-Glide will also work on CDs! Directions for use on Compact Discs (CDs):
Do not spray directly onto the CD. Hold one of the application pads 4-5 inches from the spray can nozzle and spray the surface with two one-half second bursts. Rub the sprayed surface against the surface of the untreated pad with two light passes. Apply the sprayed surface to the playing side of the CD with a radial motion only, from the inner diameter (hole) to the perimeter, as though rubbing spokes on a wheel. Treat the complete playing surface in this manner. Buff well. The CD is now clean and destaticized. An improvement in sound quality (fidelity) may be noticed. This is not as apparent as when applied to records (LPs). This is a one-time treatment. It will last indefinitely and keep the CD free from static.
