The Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions Ultimate Cleaning Kit with the Super Cleaner includes the Enzymatic Formula Pre-Cleaner and the Ultra-Pure Water. When used together, these three products make the Ultimate Cleaning Kit!

The award-winning and highly reviewed Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions product line was developed with the goal of offering a record cleaning product line that poses no risk of damage to both vinyl or shellac records, and that works well in removing a wide range of contaminants. All of the product offerings work based on the principle of using purpose-designed enzyme compounds to gently and effectively dissolve record contaminants, including protein-based contaminants, bacterial growth, and record pressing release compounds. Research has shown than any number of contaminants present in the environment can reach the record surface and pollute it. This causes noisy playback and can sometimes lead to permanent damage to the record.

All AIVS formulas are mixed using only pure, laboratory-grade components, including the water product. None of our products contain any type of detergent or lubricant which can affect sound and can also trap contaminants on the record.

The Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions Enzymatic Formula (Step 1) is used as an initial cleaner or a soak, the Enzymatic Formula is most effective when the recordÂ’s surface is completely coated with a film of the product and light brushing and agitation of the product is performed. Using this method for several minutes allows time for the enzyme compounds to loosen and dissolve the contaminants present on the record. For extremely dirty records and records that have release compounds present we suggest either repeating the cleaning process or allowing the Enzymatic Formula to soak on the record for an extended period of time.

Designed to loosen and dissolve a wide range of contaminants, including protein-based, organic, and release compounds, the Enzymatic Formula works as a Pre-Cleaner. The included AIVS Premium Archivist Record Cleaner provides the perfect follow-up!

The Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions Super Cleaner Formula (Step 2) is designed to work as the second cleaning step after the Enzymatic Formula. The enzyme content in the Super Cleaner Formula targets specific contaminants not addressed by the Enzymatic Formula. Other formulary components of the Super Cleaner Formula resist the reattaching of contaminants to the record and cause these dissolved contaminants to rise near the top of the fluid layer on the record for easier removal, either by hand or vacuum. This formula contains a small amount of laboratory-grade Isopropanol to perform a specific cleaning interaction with the enzyme content. If you do not desire the use of Isopropanol, Audio Intellignet Vinyl Solutions offers their Premium Archivist Formula. As with the Enzymatic Formula, the Super Cleaner Formula works best when the surface of the record is thoroughly coated with a layer of fluid and the enzyme content is allowed time to loosen and dissolve the contaminants that are present on the record.
Then, finish with AIVS Ultra-Pure Water, the perfect rinse agent to remove any traces of contaminants that might remain. Filtered and de-ionized in a 6 step process, the Ultra-Pure Water is more than 50 times purer than distilled water. Works great for rinsing brushes and record cleaning machine pickup tubes!

"I can say that the AI fluids are reasonably priced, easy to apply and (especially) to spread, clean extremely well, and leave no audible residue." - Michael Fremer, Stereophile, December 2007

"Trust me, once you hear what Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions can unleash from your records, youÂ’ll be hooked too. IÂ’ve never heard anything better Â…period!" - Greg Weaver, Positive Feedback Online, Issue 29

"I've now cleaned quite a lot of LPs with Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions. I have to say the results are spectacular. I have never heard such a drop in background noise. Most of my records are quasi CD-like silent now. Those I thought were beyond hope, even after cleaning them countless times with a number of other commercially available record cleaning products, are suddenly enjoying a second life. I don't know how these very understated fluids do that, but AIVS is just amazing." - Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions customer Jean-Baptiste in Great Britain

"The AIVS fluids produced vinyl that was visually and aurally as clean as it could get, often restoring the inky-black luster of the LPs as well... The AIVS fluids are clearly more economical, and you will spend less time using them and more time listening. I plan to use these AIVS products from this point forward, which makes them literally a Reviewers' Choice." - Marc Mickelson, Soundstage!, January 2008
