Most audio devices have a foot at each corner, but the internal design distributes the weight unevenly. Most equipment is out of balance. For efficient mechanical design and short power cable runs, the power transformer is almost always located at the extreme right or left side. The center of gravity is, therefore, often far to the left or right of the center of mass. Since the sources of vibration, such as transformers and motors are poorly supported, mechanical resonances occur with a cumulative effect on potential distortion.

Each ISO-Bearing will support 4.4 pounds (use three supports under a 12 pound CD player. A 30 pound amplifier needs seven supports.) For proper performance, ISO-Bearing globes should be distributed under the sources of vibration. The shelf holding the equipment must be level.

Product Reviews:
"Another valuable tweak tool in the well equipped audiophile arsenal"..."More effective than Sorbothane." - Bound For Sound 2a 94

"I attribute much of this turntable isolation to the AudioPrism Isobearing support globes. If there's one thing they are not "dampening" it's my enthusiasm for vinyl reproduction." - Audio Ideas Guide (Canada) Winter 97 Issue
