Sgt Pepper celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year with a new 2017 stereo mix. To create Sgt. Peppers new stereo mix, producer Giles Martin oversaw an expert team at Abbey Road Studios in London, sourced directly from the four-track masters produced by his father, George Martin. Upon its release in 1967, the album held the number one spot for 15 weeks and won a Grammy Award for Album of The Year.

The expanded 2CD package adds a second disc of 18 tracks, of unreleased alternate takes, newly mixed in stereo and an unreleased instrumental take of "Penny Lane" and two unreleased alternate takes of "Strawberry Fields Forever."
