With Here At Last, Yoku Tamura has gracefully brought his long-cherished dream of performing with Akitoshi Igarashi to life! and as an added bonus, these jazz legends are joined by Tohru Konishi, a guitarist known for his masterful control.

Cisco's smooth jazz classic gets the analog treatment. Recorded and mixed by TBM legend Yoshihiko Kannari, Here At Last has presence, immediacy and detail in spades. Sultry sax mixes with an easy swinging quartet to create a vibe both relaxed and exciting.

Though their first ever recording together, Here At Last brilliantly portrays the intensely individualistic styles set by Tamura, Igarashi, and Konishi. Bassist Ushio Itoh and drummer Yutaka Sasaki, both grizzled Beatles generation devotees of the jazz tradition, cheerfully exercised their convictions and skills in providing rhythm-section support. Here At Last perfectly echoes the spirit and sound of this collection!
