Dameronia With Strings:
Jazz drummer Ferit Odman's third album, "Dameronia With Strings" is a tribute to Tadd Dameron and is released all analog (AAA) 180g Vinyl LP.

Michael Fremer Rated 10/11 Music, 10/11 Sound on analogplanet.com, February 12, 2016!

"This is an album of elegant, melodic tunes filled with great beauty that will make you feel good from the first note of “On a Misty Night” to the second side ender, after which you will wish there was more. Anchored by Odman’s smooth, subtle drumming the album also swings dynamically with rhythmic propulsion."

"As for the sound, it’s all-analog so what do you think? But why have to put up with my descriptors? Listen to the opening tune and judge for yourself, but believe me, the 'live playback' beats the YouTube version, good as it is!"
- Michael Fremer, analogplanet.com, 10/11 Music, 10/11 Sound!

"Ferit has brought us both the big sound of the full set Gretsch in Nardis Jazz Club and the sound of the small bass drum, snare drum and his brushes just because he is doing what he loves. He has already pressed the elevator button to go high up!" - Emre Adam, Jazz Dergisi

Nommo:

Jazz drummer Ferit Odman is joined by Brian Lynch, Vincent Herring, Burak Bedikyan, and Peter Washington for this 2010 album, which has previously not been released on vinyl.

Autumn In New York:
"Autumn in New York comes via Turkish drummer Ferit Odman—who leads this session featuring an all-American band playing straight-ahead tunes—but this is a far cry from a "drummer's date." Both members of the frontline—trumpeter Terell Stafford and alto saxophonist Vincent Herring—were referred to as "young lions" early in their careers, and sound very much at home throughout the set, their ensemble playing a testament that, by this point, they are clear mainstays of the scene. Stafford's tone is warm and personal, and his reading of the title tune is delivered with tender familiarity. The lyrics of the song are included in the liner notes, and the trumpeter's feature evokes a feeling of that special time in that special place..." William Carey, allaboutjazz.com, 2012
