The Tokyo debut concert of the amazing Sheila Jordan (voice) and Harvie Swartz (bass) duo. A vocalist of uncompromising originality, Sheila, has been on the jazz scene since the 1950s, having had many an opportunity to sing with the legendary Charlie Parker in the NYC lofts. Harvie, a most accomplished bassist, has been playing with Sheila since the early 80s. Performing both standards and originals, neither pianist nor drummer is missed as together they create a musicality that must be heard to be believed.
