The Great Wall is an American-Chinese adventure film from director Zhang Yimou (Raise The Red Lantern). Starring Matt Damon, the movie follows an elite force of soldiers as they make a heroic stand atop the Great Wall of China against a horde of monsters that appear every sixty years. Willem Dafoe and Andy Lau also star in the film. The Great Wall is the largest co-production of all time between Hollywood and China, with Legendary Entertainment throwing their considerable weight behind the $150-million-budgeted film.

The score to The Great Wall was composed by Ramin Djawadi. Best known for his iconic scores to Game of Thrones and Iron Man, Djawadi has also provided the music for Warcraft, Pacific Rim and Westworld among countless other projects. His score to The Great Wall is sweeping and grand featuring rumbling drums, an army of strings and traditional Chinese chanting.

The Great Wall is getting the vinyl treatment. Pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and housed in a sleek dress jacket, the album features a selection of score tracks curated by Ramin Djawadi and mastered for the vinyl format. The LP release also features a 12x12 insert and a limited time digital download of the entire album.
