The 2012 Steven Wilson Stereo Remix Pressed on 180g Vinyl! Includes 24-Page Booklet!

Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick," released in 1972, was the group's fifth studio album and is noted for containing only one song (in 2 parts).

Jethro Tull are a unique phenomenon in popular music history. Their mix of hard rock; folk melodies; blues licks; surreal, impossibly dense lyrics; and overall profundity defied easy analysis, but that didn't dissuade fans from giving them 11 gold and five platinum albums. Formed in 1967 by Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull went on to sell over 60 million albums worldwide and become one of the most commercially successful and eccentric progressive-rock bands.

Thick as a Brick is the fifth studio album by Jethro Tull, originally released in 1972 and was deliberately crafted in the style of a concept album. The original packaging was designed like a fold-out newspaper, and claims the album to be a musical adaptation of an epic poem by an 8-year old genius, though the lyrics were actually written by the band's frontman, Ian Anderson. Rolling Stone magazine called Thick as a Brick "one of rock's most sophisticated and ground-breaking products."
