Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden Now On Two 180 Gram LPs!

Of all the live concert recordings released during Elvis Presley's lifetime, none carried the historic significance of his long-awaited New York City shows at Madison Square Garden in June 1972.

This live album was recorded and originally released in June 1972 by RCA Records peaking on the charts in July 1972. Recorded at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 10, 1972, this was the first concert in the Big Apple since the 1950s. The album was certified Gold on August 4, 1972.

The album, which contains the evening session, was released only one week after the concert and, despite the lengthy tracklisting, it was originally released on a single LP. Here, however, it is now pressed on a double LP set.
