Sarah McLachlan's First Studio Album Of Brand New Material In 7 Years!
Multi-platinum and Grammy-Award winning singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan releases her first studio album of new material in 7 years entitled THE LAWS OF ILLUSION. The album includes the single "Loving You Is Easy".
The album was recorded in Montreal and Vancouver with Sarahs longtime collaborator/producer Pierre Marchand.
A resident of Vancouver, Sarah performed at the opening ceremony for the 2009 Winter Olympics and wrote and recorded "One Dream," which was used as part of NBC's marketing campaign for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Since joining Arista in 1988, every one of Sarah McLachlans studio and live albums has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA, starting with Touch (1988) and Solace (1991), both gold sellers.
Founded by McLachlan, The Lilith Fair is an historic all-women touring festival which has become one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world. Between 1997-1999, Lilith Fair enjoyed over 2 million fans in attendance and over $10 million dollars raised for national and local womens charities. Lilith Fair 2010 features performances by Mary J.
