Legendary Recording On 180g Vinyl LP!

Cellist Jacqueline du Pre is joined by the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim for this recording of Cello Concerti by Schumann and Saint-Saens.

In his memoir A Life In Music, Daniel Barenboim wrote of Jacqueline Du Pre: "I have never encountered anyone for whom music was such a natural form of expression as it was for Jacqueline … She had a capacity to imagine sound such as I never met in any other musician."

'She clearly was born to play the cello,' wrote the New York Times of Jacqueline du Pré in 1967. Just five years later her career was cut tragically short by illness.

This 180g LP uses the 24-BIT/96kHz remastering made at Abbey Road in 2011 for Japanese SACD versions.
